lacy s. pender - head girl scarlet ribbbon school of burlesque
Character Bio:
Current head girl, Lacy, has the look of an angel and the school record of a devil. From dancing in the library to rhinestoning her name on every desk in the school she is well known and loved around Scarlet Ribbon's School for Little Darlings.
In her spare time, she enjoys making over the schools pet mascot, Scarlet the Salamander, and adding that little touch of glamour to the common room in the form of her signature cream feathers and sparkly glitter.
She also likes to sneak down to the speak easy on a Friday night, as well as encouraging the other students, and sometimes even the teachers, to do the same. This is where she developed her love for burlesque.
Her crowding glory has to be the time she sent a letter out signed by the Headmistress, Ms Darling, stating that all students had to bring corsets for P.E. Hockey that day was a roaring success.
Despite her her cheeky, somewhat impulsive side, Lacy has a heart of gold and nothing brings her more joy than adding a little burlesque to all pupils, old and new.

Personel Bio:
Inspirations:
Millie Dollar, Anna Fur Laxis, Sally Rand, Tempest Storm.
First memory of burlesque:
I have always loved all things glamour and vintage particularly the 1920s. The first time I saw live burlesque I was less than an arms length away from the stage in a dark and dingy upstairs room in a pub.
It was a perfect introduction and I couldn't take my eyes off the embodiment of the 1920s sirens I converted. Watching the energy and power as they moved around the stage as well as the elements of humour and satire had me totally hooked and I haven't stopped thinking about burlesque since.
First show:
My first show was the most terrible and wonderful thing I have ever done. The rush I go from it was immense and ever since I always loved watching the ladies do their first show and watching the adrenaline pulse through them as the get on the stage and the exhilaration as they exit. In my first show I was so on edge that as I gently flicked off my shoe to follow it with a sensuous stocking removal I over compensated and flung the offending shoe into the face of an overeager front row audience member. They took it in good humour, but have always been cautious when picking their vantage point at future shows.
